The historic Butler Bank is an Egyptian Revival-style building designed by A.E. Doyle, one of the Pacific Northwest’s most celebrated architects of the early 20th century. Leslie Butler and his son Truman started the Butler Bank Company in 1900 as the first bank in Hood River County. Their success led to the 1924 stone building in the heart of downtown Hood River.
